What You Need to Get That Perfect Shot
To photograph fireworks, you need a camera, a lens, a way to keep the camera still during the fireworks, and a good way to trigger the shutter without moving the camera. The good news is that you can buy most of these things for reasonable prices. Chances are you already have a camera and lens that will work just fine, and you might even have a tripod.
