The Idea
The plan is to use any available light source as a brush to paint things into your picture. This is all done in-camera while the shutter is wide open. I have found that the art of light painting has an incredible magic, It is a great way to turn a camera into an entertainment device and is also a great group activity. Give it a try and you will find yourself running to your camera every time the shutter closes to see what you have captured. The creative potential of this technique is unlimited.
