We've now implemented some more quality-of-life features for our application that are things most people would come to expect from a modern application! Images are a major driver of internet applications nowadays (one only needs to look at the popularity of Facebook, Instagram, and Tumblr for examples of this), so it makes sense that we'd try to implement our own image handling code, and the issue of how to implement this functionality that shows up all the time in places such as Stack Overflow and other troubleshooting forums.
