Education and development of personality are both conditioned by the philosophy and sociology of education. Philosophy is concerned with determining the ends of education, while sociology of education determines the means to be used for their actualization. Education must enshrine all that is good and noble, socially and morally significant, and lead to the emancipation of the individual to promote the well-being of family and society of which he is an integral part.
