5.1 Overview of Reservoir Fluid Sampling

One of the important activities in reservoir management is to ensure that representative reservoir fluid samples are obtained by sampling and proper laboratory measurements are conducted on the samples. It is also equally important that reservoir fluid samples should be stored in containers and maintained under conditions that retain the composition of the original sample over time.
