The Internet is a major focus of most communication today. It represents a nexus for people from all over the world. Most companies have an Internet plan in place right now, and many have implemented an Internet plan (dot-com crash not withstanding).
The preceding chapter looked at some of the intricacies of making connections within Windows XP. However, we looked at internal connections for the most part, not outside of your machine. Even the Dial-Up Networking section focused on personal communication needs. This chapter looks at some of the things you can do with those connections after you make them.
