Creating a portrait of your pet

A portrait is more than just a quick, candid snapshot of your pet. Taking a portrait of your pet requires planning to find the best location, the right lighting, and a background that keeps the focus on the subject. Photographing a pet portrait is a lot like photographing a celebrity; you need to have all your equipment set up beforehand and have a plan in place, because you won’t get a lot of time with your subject.
