Some Vertical Lines Converge

There's a more important use of a third vanishing point than in these roof lines. So far, we've not molested the vertical lines in our buildings. We've left them vertical. That's appropriate if we're dealing with relatively low, squat objects, because all points along the vertical lines in such objects are nearly the same distance from our eyes. Those lines, in other words, are not visibly receding from the viewer.
