Synopsis
getprotoent
Retrieves the next line from the
/etc/protocols file (on some Unix systems).
Returns null at the end of the file. The return value from
getprotoent is:
($name, $aliases, $protocol_number)
In scalar context, getprotoent returns only the protocol
name.
