POTENTIAL APPRAISAL

The potential appraisal is a future-oriented appraisal to measure the potentiality of an employee for future higher positions. It helps in succession planning and is a holistic approach to study wholesome qualities of an employee with a given intellect, personality, and character. Industry practices apply two widely used approaches for potential appraisal, that is, helicopter and whole person qualities.
