Building a Culture of Coaching and Development

Recently there has been an increase in the number of organizations seeking to create a culture of coaching. On the one hand, this appears a worthy goal in light of so many organizations striving to be agile and adaptable and employees crying out for more coaching and development opportunities. On the other hand, focusing exclusively on coaching to meet those needs seems idealistic and unduly emphasizes the solution over the need.
