The term evaluator describes not only one profession or occupation, but also a given role at a particular time. Individuals conducting evaluation often wear many hats. They may be internal employees, members of the management team, faculty members, or consultants who have acquired interest and expertise in measurement and evaluation through education, training, or experience.
