Prioritizing Gaps

A worker who performs acceptably and aims to enhance her job performance identifies several discrepancies between her current work status and the targeted goal. She attempts to start working on those gaps, but realizes that each identified gap is not as clear as it initially seemed to be. The worker consumes a great deal of time and effort setting priorities and eventually becomes confused about which gap is most important.
