Meetings—such as staff meetings, progress updates, team meetings, and even brief check-ins—represent other good coaching opportunities for improved performance, as long as they are done appropriately and with respect to time. Coaching techniques used in a group setting offer you the opportunity to reinforce roles and responsibilities among employees, communicate about expectations, and celebrate accomplishments. You’ll also be able to access the synergy of creative thinking that happens when more than one person focuses their attention on something.
