Paula Dean is a Principal Instructor at Oracle University. She began her career as a PeopleSoft developer in 1996 and worked extensively with the product for the next 11 years. In that period she was involved in the initial implementation of the Financial install of PeopleSoft. Paula was a part of the upgrade team for multiple upgrades of the Financial and HCM products starting with release 6.5 through 8.44. She has first-hand, real-world experience in the field performing the upgrade process. She began teaching the technical PeopleSoft courses at Oracle University in 2007 and currently serves as the Lead Instructor for Upgrade and Data Management, SQR, and PeopleSoft Test Framework courses.
