APPENDIX APL/SQL in PeopleSoft
PL/SQL can be a very useful tool within PeopleSoft. The main limitation, of course, is that, if you are not using the Oracle database, this tool is not an option for you. Because of this limitation, many shops are reluctant to rely on PL/SQL too heavily in case a change of platform is chosen by management. This is why the information about this tool is added to the book as an appendix: if you need to know how to use the tool, here is some helpful information; otherwise, you might need it for future reference.
