Congratulations on making it through all or most of the exercises in this book.

Now that you are here, I want to share with you my ultimate goal. Henry David Thoreau wrote, “A truly good book teaches me better than to read it. I must begin living on its hint.” The end of this book is really just the beginning. And I’m not referring to incorporating the tips, exercises, or creative ideas in your daily photographic life. That is a good start, but my hope is much more grand.

I hope that this book serves as a backdrop for you to begin writing your own story, creating your own images, developing your own exercises, and sharing all of that with others. You have something valuable to say. And I, along with others, would love to hear and see ...
