This book was the beginning of a project for me. A project to create a book focusing on one of the nine knowledge areas of A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). As a beginner with this project and with project management, I didn’t know what to expect, what steps I would take, the problems I would encounter, or the outcome.

I started at the logical place: the PMBOK® Guide. Reading through the knowledge areas, I have to admit that one word came to mind: stuffy.
