Now that we have reengineered our organizational structure to enable the teams to perform their primary functions, what else do we have to do to maximize their performance?

Well, I would suggest that the first thing is to make sure that the priorities of the entire organization (enterprise) are in alignment. The entire enterprise needs to be aligned to provide maximum support to the team. The demand for support should be from the bottom up, not, as is so often the case, from the top down.
