Understanding the Client’s Strengths, Weaknesses, and Expectations

Project managers must understand the client’s strengths, weaknesses, and expectations in order to deliver the desired results. Project managers must be prepared to shore-up any weaknesses, make use of strengths, and otherwise ensure that client expectations are met. As the project progresses, open communication, education, knowledge, personal relationships, and the unfolding results of the project can all be used to meet client expectations that sometimes evolve with the project.
