The previous chapters addressed uses of the People CMM. This chapter presents data regarding experiences with the People CMM, and Chapter 10 examines a number of case studies of this use. As discussed in Chapter 7, the People CMM can be applied by an organization in three primary ways:
1. As a guide in planning and implementing improved human capital management practices
2. As a guide for improving organizational standards
3. As a standard for analyzing and appraising an organization’s implemented workforce practices
