In this chapter, you learned different options that PDI offers to combine or split flows of data. The covered topics included copying and distributing rows, and splitting streams based on conditions. You also saw different ways to merge independent streams.

With the concepts you learned in the previous chapters, the kind of tasks you are able to do is already broad. In the next chapter, you will learn how to insert code in your transformations as an alternative to do some of those tasks, but mainly as a way to accomplish other tasks that are complicated or even unthinkable of doing with the regular PDI steps.
