Usability
The first thing you will notice while working with PDI 5, is the Help button on steps and job entries, as shown in the following screenshot:
After clicking on that button, if available, the wiki page for the step will show up to help you understand the purpose of the entry of step.
One interesting improvement regarding usability, is the continuous preview mode. If you are designing and testing a transformation, instead of running previews of individual steps, you have the option of running the transformation and seeing the output of individual steps in the Preview data tab of the Execution Results window, as shown in the following screenshot: ...
