Appendix E. Introducing PDI 5 Features
While writing the second edition of this book, Version 5 was still under development. Most of the novelties in this new release are quite advanced or have to do with concepts that are out of the scope of this book, for example, Carte—a simple web server that allows you to execute transformations and jobs remotely.
There are, however, some features that may interest you. This appendix will quickly introduce you to those features.
