Our focus for this book is to learn how to build and use a low-cost, portable hacking arsenal using the Raspberry Pi 3 and Kali Linux. By the end of the book, we’ll have an extremely flexible penetration testing platform, suitable for penetration testing projects that don’t require applications with high processing power needs. This combination leverages the portability of the Raspberry Pi and the capabilities of the most popular open source penetration toolset, Kali Linux. Throughout the book, we will focus on using the combined platform to perform covert security assessments at remote locations.
