Moving Forward

One of the most exciting and fulfilling assignments I ever had was to design and staff a corporate daycare center. Chelsea Square was an experiment in innovative design and innovative early childhood education. It served children of professional parents from three months to five years of age. The children were diverse, and their parents were equally diverse in age, professional occupation, ethnicity, and religious affiliation. The center was located in the downtown business hub of a large Midwestern city. It was open, airy, visually engaging, and, for maximum security, completely transparent.
