I wrote and indexed this book directly in Adobe InDesign on an Intel Mac Pro. The fonts used are Warnock Pro for body copy (9.5/14) and Today for the heads, subheads, and captions. I wish I could have been allowed to use something really sassy here and there. Some fun face from MyFonts.com, like Flyswim, above, or Cocktail Shaker from Veer.com, which is what you’re reading now.
Although the indexing feature in InDesign is fabulous, this new version of CS3 broke the index. I am deeply indebted to Ole Kvern for writing me a script that did magical mystical things and let me get this book to press on time. Bless your heart, Ole—I adore you. I hope you enjoy the Calvados. :-)
