Chapter 2. Getting the environment up
and running
In this chapter, we show how to install the necessary components for PDA
management through the Tivoli Web Gateway. Our primary focus is on how to
scale down IBM Tivoli Configuration Manager, that is, how to install most of the
components on one single server using the model shown in Figure 1-4 on
page 12. We will go through the basic installation steps of the components,
showing the possible gaps in the installation procedure.
