2.1. Types of Current

Current flows take many different forms that can have useful properties and sometimes very random natures. This section describes some of the more common forms.

Sometimes it is difficult to figure out if we are graphing current or voltage. It is important to understand that there is an intimate relationship between voltage and current. Current flows because (typically) there is a difference in voltage between two points.
