Getting Help If You’re Still Unclear

If you’re unclear on a part of the method covered in your training, and you’ve already gone over your training material, check out other sources for help; don’t just give up. If you don’t have a copy of PRINCE2 For Dummies, then you might like to get hold of one, because the nature of the book allows a more down-to-earth explanation than the manual. But also, if you’re on a course, then ask the course tutor. If you’re with a good training company, then the tutor can explain the point another way, perhaps with a few examples from live projects he or she has worked on, so you can understand. If the trainer can only repeat what’s in the manual (too often the case) and doesn’t seem to have any practical experience to fall back on for meaningful examples, then at least you now know why that course was cheaper than the others you considered!
