The Practitioner Scenario For This Book

Like in the Practitioner exam, many but not quite all of the Practitioner-level questions in this book are based on a project. This last section gives you information on the project that I will use throughout the book, but some chapters may also have extra, subject specific, information. You’ll need to refer back to the project scenario in this last section when you’re tackling the practice Practitioner questions in later chapters.

In the Practitioner exam, as well as in the book, be careful to refer to both sources of information: the information in the main scenario and also any additional project information provided just for that subject area, such as quality.

Preparing the new business unit

Princess Projects Plc is planning to redecorate and refurnish a suite of four offices for staff to move into to form a new e-commerce business unit. One office is already empty, staff are currently in the process of moving out of the second office, and the other two are due to be vacated in two weeks’ time. The offices will then be empty apart from old carpets, window blinds and a few items of usable furniture left behind by the previous occupants. The carpets are old and worn and will need replacing as part of the project.
