Planning is a core element of project management, so it’s hardly surprising that PRINCE2 devotes a theme to it. Having said that, the approach in the current manual is a little awkward, and you may have found the planning aspect hard to follow. There are two areas to focus on in your revision. The first, which you’ll need to know about for both exams, concerns the types of plan in the method, where they’re produced (in terms of the processes) and who produces them. The second area, which you’ll need mostly for the Practitioner exam, is the practicalities of the product-based planning approach – you should be able to produce the diagrams and forms involved.
