I’m sure that most of us can recall at least one instance when we didn’t have the equipment we needed and missed the shot as a result. You forgot to charge that extra battery or to bring a polarizing filter for the lens or the mounting plate for your tripod, and as a result, not being prepared cost you what felt like the photograph of a lifetime. It’s painful but preventable. All you need is a list.
