Zoom Controls
All PANAVISION zoom lenses may be operated either manually or electronically using an Electronic Zoom Control unit. A clutch on all lenses must be slid across to select whichever means of control is required (except for those lenses which have a “collar” motor).
When operating in the electronic control mode the zoom control hand unit (zoom gun) must be connected to the zoom motor by the yellow cable supplied. The zoom motor must be connected to a 24v DC power supply by one of the black cables supplied.
When drawing power from the zoom control power outlet on the front of the PANAFLEX camera use the short cable and when operating off an independent battery use the longer cable.
