Fitting Lenses to the Camera
All PANAFLEX and PANASTAR cameras, together with PSR cameras and PANAVISION versions of Arriflex and Mitchell cameras are fitted with the same strongly designed PANAVISION lock ring lens mount.
To mount a lens to the camera remove the lens port cover from the camera (if fitted), and turn the lens locking ring fully counter-clockwise.
Remove the rear cover from the lens and offer up the lens to the camera with the locating pin in the downwards position, slide the lens firmly and squarely into the camera and turn the locking ring fully clockwise to secure.
Long focal length and zoom lenses may require additional support from the iris rods.
