Threading the Camera—Checking that It Runs Properly and Quietly

On the PLATINUM PANAFLEX press the inching switch on the inside of the camera to take up any unwound film in the magazine. On earlier cameras slide away the small lever behind the rear inching knob, press in the knob to take up any excess.

Inch the camera through a complete cycle to check the lacing. Check that the top loop does not touch the perforation locating pin and that the bottom loop does not become too tight or touch the bottom of the camera. If a loop is not correct open the corresponding sprocket roller and adjust as appropriate.
