Additional Camera Tilt, Up or Down

An adjustable tilt plate for exaggerated tilt up or down makes possible shots with the camera pointing 90° up or 90° down.

To Adjust the Tilt Plate for Additional Tilt Down

For additional tilt DOWN release the rear tilt plate locking lever that is just in front of the rear pan handle socket and press the safety catch at the rear of the tilt plate on the left. For small amounts of additional tilt, press in whichever of the three safety stops at the rear right hand side of the dovetail slideway is appropriate and lock the sliding block in such a manner that the safety stop remains in position.
