PANAVISION Lenses
Long before they supplied and manufactured cameras PANAVISION Inc. were providers of fine lenses. Films such as Ben Hur, Lawrence of Arabia and My Fair Lady, among many others, were all photographed through PANAVISION lenses. In 1994 the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awarded PANAVISION Inc. their Award of Merit, an “Oscar,” in recognition of this achievement.
