Time Code — AATONCODE/NAGRA IV-S T.C. Unit

The recommended audio recorder for Time Code operation is the stereo Nagra IV-S model fitted with a Time Code module, making it a ‘Nagra IV-S T.C

In addition the Nagra recorder must be equipped with an AATONCODE ASCII interface board.

Checking and Changing the Nagra Time Code Settings

To operate correctly in the time code mode the frame rate must be set to that of the film camera, i.e., 24, 25 or 30 fps. This may be done by means of a rotary switch situated inside the recorder.
