PANATATE Turnover Mount
PANATATE TURNOVER MOUNTS are available to tilt the camera about the lens axis during a shot.
Like the Nodal Adaptors, the PANATATE unit is fitted to a PANAHEAD in place of the tilt unit and can be slid backwards and forwards to place the entrance pupil of the lens in the center of the pan and tilt axes.
Fine adjustment is provided to place the camera in exactly the center of rotation so there is no displacement as the camera is rolled over.
Weights which screw into the front of the PANATATE unit are provided to partially counterweight the camera about the pan, tilt and rotational axes so that it may be panned, tilted and rotated smoothly.
