PANAPOD Tripods
PANAVISION PANAPODS are lightweight tubular tripods which are available in Standard and Baby lengths.
The Standard length makes possible lens heights between 3’9" and 6’10" (1.150–2.80m) and the Baby between 2’9" and 4’3" (0.840–1.295m), approximately, allowing for the added height of a PANAFLEX camera on a PANAHEAD and depending upon the amount of spread.
The use of a PANABALL leveller will add 6" to the height.
PANAPOD tripods should always be used with a spreader or with crows’ feet for security. If the feet are fixed to the ground they should always be released before adjusting the tripod height or level to prevent the legs from becoming twisted or bent.
