Electronic Synchronizer Systems— Camera to Projector Synchronizer
PANAVISION cameras can be synchronized to projectors either by means of the Phasable Synchronizer unit or by the Camera—Projector Electronic Synchronizer unit. These units not only ensure that any PANAFLEX, PANASTAR or SUPER PSR camera will operate at exactly the same speed as a film projector but will also ensure (providing that the probe is properly set on the projector) that the shutters of the two units open at precisely the same moment. It is an essential accessory for front and rear projection process filming.
