The F.T.Z.S.A.C. System — Camera Speed/T-Stop and Zoom Control

As with the Focus and T-Stop control, before the system can be used the various components must be calibrated to one another.

Combined Camera Speed and T-Stop Calibration

For a “Combined camera speed and T-Stop” calibration where a change in lens aperture is to maintain the correct exposure level during an in-shot change of camera speed:

• First decide what change of camera speed is required and use the tables on pages 185 and 187 to calculate what the exposure change must be to compensate. Say 24 to 6 fps and T8 to T4.

• Before powering the Receiver unit set the “SPEED” switch on the Receiver to ON. (The camera should be OFF.)
