I show you how the Pre came to be (users of older Palm devices will especially appreciate this part), and I talk about the all-new operating system — webOS — that powers the Pre.
In Chapters 2 and 3, you'll find out how to feed and care for your Pre (geek-speak for "charge the phone"), turn it on, and get around the powerful new user interface. These chapters are especially important (and especially fun) for understanding how to navigate all the awesome applications you'll discover throughout the book, so grab a cup of hot cocoa and settle in!
