Setting the Scene
In the previous chapter you prepared your source image for painting, starting with the capture of your image in the camera, and then with continued composition and refinement of your image in the computer, making use of both Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter. Now the fun starts—it's time to paint! For the whole of this chapter you will be working exclusively in the world of Corel Painter. The brushwork I refer to in the title of this chapter is digital brushwork. The next chapter, Chapter 6 “Painting From Photos III—Completion,” includes mention of post-print painting, which, of course, is also brushwork.
