Resources for Green Career Changers
In this chapter, we have assembled a list of major volunteer and professional organizations, including the Web address of these groups as well as a brief description. There are hundreds of such organizations, so this list is far from complete. We have not included some major groups such as the Environmental Defense Fund and Friends of the Earth that focus on donations rather than active participation. Please note that we have included the organizations’ own descriptions found on their websites whenever possible.
