RIP Tips
Rapid Improvement Plans are one of the most critical and influential components of practicing Ownership Thinking. And yet, I often see them fall by the wayside. Here are a few tips to (hopefully) ensure that you stick with them.
■ Your Ownership Thinking Steering Committee (explained in Chapter 7) should probably be in charge of ensuring that RIPs are created and executed.
■ The biggest problem with creating RIPs is that people overthink them. They turn them into something very ominous and complicated. They are actually quite easy to design.
