Once these data have been collected, the next step in KPI identification is to get the leadership team together to sift through the data and arrive at the company’s KPIs. This session typically lasts the better part of a day and should be held somewhere that will prevent any distractions. The facilitator of this meeting (preferably someone outside of the company who does not have a personal agenda) will guide the participants through the data and assist in tapping their knowledge of the company toward identifying the key, critical issues that the company is facing.
