Abstract

This final chapter sums up the book's key themes and synthesises its main conclusions. It considers future challenges for library leaders in remaining accountable and relevant and in being able to fulfil government agendas. It reflects on the effectiveness of the macro, meso and micro information poverty framework as a way of evaluating library services. A set of recommendations that could inform future public library policies in any setting, with a goal to expand their capacity to address information poverty, is presented.
