Using the Documents Window

Understanding how the ODS Documents window works is easier once you have a document to explore.

To open the window, type odsdocument in the SAS command line, as shown on the left in Figure 11.3. Alternatively, from the View menu, select Documents, as shown on the right in Figure 11.3.

Figure 11.4 shows that when the Documents window opens, SAS docks it in the same area as the Results and SAS Explorer windows. You can switch between the three windows by clicking on the appropriate tab at the bottom.

What you see in the ODS Documents window resembles the Results window in that both have a hierarchical structure. However, the Documents window has no output other than the output objects in ODS document form.
